For Bette, the Montessori method was invaluable in developing art curriculum and methodology for preschoolers. Soon Bette was teaching drawing to 3, 4, and 5 year-olds at local Montessori Schools. The combination of her art and education backgrounds gave her an opportunity to blend valuable concepts, "art talk", and subject matter into age appropriate curriculum.
